Edward is both an exceptional nurse and healthcare leader, who has been frequently known for his out of the box thinking and strategies to ensure safe and effective patient care. In the past, Edward has been instrumental in the development and design of Out of Hospital Ambulatory Care Centers throughout Ontario. He even oversaw the operations of Ontario’s first stand-alone multi-disciplined ambulatory surgical center. There he lead a team of dedicated physicians, nurses and allied staff to create a business from the ground up to become one of the areas most successful centers.

Previously, Edward was a healthcare leader in both Perioperative Care as well and Emergency Medicine where he coordinated the care of over 50,000 patients annually while continuing to advocate for patients by ensuring the highest standards of care were met. In the past, Edward has used LEAN methodologies to maximize utilization, create a safe working environment and increase the safety of patients.

As a passionate healthcare leader, Edward also knows the importance of learning and continued education. As a result, Edward spends time as Professor of Perioperative Care and has taught in a variety of academia throughout the province.
Edward has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York University and is currently registered with College of Nurses of Ontario and a member of the Registers Nurses Association of Ontario.
