Although a worthy ambition, establishing an Ambulatory Surgery Center can feel like an insurmountable task. Understanding logistics, regulations and passing inspections might seem like it’s beyond the scope of your team. That’s why Surgical Services Ltd. was established.

We are a team of medical professionals, partnering with our clients to ensure a successful launch and ongoing success of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). ASCs can alleviate the strain on hospitals while providing a more economical and efficient option for patient care. While these benefits are good reasons for establishing ASCs, barriers like inspections, approvals, standards, and policies can stall the process.

There are so many aspects to consider when starting an ASC – from building location and layout to developing policies and procedures. Dr. Rotenberg is an ENT surgeon, and his training includes and MD degree from University of Toronto, Royal College certification in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, an MPH from Emory University and a CCPE certification from the Canadian Society of Physician Leaders.

Edward is both an exceptional nurse and healthcare leader, who has been frequently known for his out of the box thinking and strategies to ensure safe and effective patient care. In the past, Edward has been instrumental in the development and design of Out of Hospital Ambulatory Care Centers throughout Ontario.
